Pete Marrs

Pete grew up in a working class family in Moore, Oklahoma, and earned his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1986. He began his career as a lawyer in a downtown Oklahoma City tall building law firm representing doctors’ insurance companies and hospital corporations. He was lucky enough to start his practice at a time when many cases were tried and he was lucky enough to learn from some of the finest trial lawyers our state has produced. In early 2006, Pete left his tall building law firm, returned to his roots and began representing real people in cases against doctors’ insurance companies and hospital corporations. Pete has tried over 70 medical malpractice cases and is one of only a handful of Oklahoma lawyers who is both board certified in medical/professional malpractice law and who is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers.

“The deck is often stacked against ordinary people who take on powerful insurance companies and corporations. It’s a joy to use my unique background and experience to level the playing field.”

Pete is the proud father of two young adult children, Thomas and Callie, and when not working or spending time with them he can be found riding and racing his bike with DNA Racing, a team he helps sponsor, or doing hot yoga.
